New Masking Policy

Revised

Effective August 14, 2023 at Melt Massage wearing high a quality NIOSH approved N95 mask covering the nose and mouth will continue to be required if at the time of your appointment:

  1. you had or recovered from having had Covid in the previous 21 days
  2. you are asymptomatic but have been around someone who is sick or “getting over being sick” * with any airborne contagious illness like the common cold, flu, RSV, the novel Coronavirus, etc., in the previous 7 days, or
  3. you have travelled in the previous 5 days.

Otherwise masks will be optional starting July 1, 2023.

I will continue to mask as we wind down from Covid, and whenever requested, because it has proven to be an easy way to avoid getting and spreading various airborne illnesses. That, and my boss doesn’t give me ‘sick days.’ 😉

If you show up sick or “getting over being sick” to an appointment, you may be denied service and required to pay for time you’ve reserved.

Thank you for supporting an environment of health and wellness.

*PS. If you are sick or “getting over being sick” 48 hours before your massage appointment, it is best to reschedule. Find out why.

This policy is subject to change.
